Children Basic Education Project in Boengkak Slum Area

SCC-CBE School is located at Boengkak community has established since 2007 as a project in a slum area. The aim is to reduce the dropout rate of students and change behavior regarding school attendance and increase awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention.

SCC-CBE’s students get the opportunity to gain more Khmer literature and to learn English language with a special focus on learning Speaking and Listening skills. The study curriculum is well organized and the lessons are properly planned, so the teachers have the right conditions to teach in an effective way. We have volunteer teachers from the agency ‘Projects Abroad’ and other volunteer teachers from different country to teach English and share various experiences. Moreover, the children’s families received the basic Nutrition support and basic healthcare from SCC-CBE School.

By the kindness of your great help, SCC-CBE Community School has been saved the lives of 94 orphans, vulnerable children and 74 families member. Especially to keep the children from dropping out of state school during the Covid-19 crisis by learning at home.

We would please to inform that our Budget and Activities for 12 months will end on 31rd July 2021. Actually we are raising fund for continuing 12 months more from 1st August 2021 to 31rd July 2022. We hope you will definitely continue to support our school open.
